This two-story facility (26,000-square-feet) features a state-of-the-art facility that merges the traditional library experience with cutting-edge technology. It includes a standard library, media labs, theater space, and an exhibition gallery. Construction included a multipurpose room, three tutoring rooms, one group study room, a conference room, a teen activity room, a storytelling/program room and a computer lab. The new library will house a collection of approximately 50,000 items including books, DVDs, CDs, publications and reference materials. One unique feature in the library is the Teen Tech Studio, which is designed to encourage young adults to creatively explore digital media. It features seven computers, virtual reality gear, gaming consoles and video production technology.
