1953
Larry Meisner starts Meisner Electric in Newton, Iowa.
1954
Meisner Electric completes its first commercial project, The Elk’s Lodge, in Newton, Iowa.
1965 - 1975
Meisner diversifies and expands to other states completing projects throughout the Midwest.
1978
Meisner opens its regional office in Delray Beach, Florida.
1983
Meisner’s 2nd generation, Tim and Janet (Meisner) Onnen, acquire ownership of all Florida Regional Operations from Larry Meisner.
2001
Meisner builds a 672,000 SF state-of-the-art logistics and distribution facility for Walgreens in Jupiter, Florida.
2005 - 2008
Meisner completes over 1.5 million square feet of beachfront projects in Fort Lauderdale to include the “W” Hotel & Residences, a 520 room, 23-story twin tower hotel and residential development, the Trump Hotel, a 25-story 495,000 sq. ft. mixed use building with hotel rooms, ballrooms, restaurants, seasonal residences, and retail spaces, and the Q Club Resort and Residences, a 25-story 340 room resort and condominium project.
2017

2018
Meisner opens its West Coast Regional office in Sarasota, Florida.
2021
Meisner relocates its Corporate HQ from Delray Beach to Boca Raton.
2021
Meisner’s Tampa Bay/Sarasota Area Office relocates from Sarasota to Ellenton.
