A 206,000-square-foot outpatient health care facility constructed over 38 months utilizing 116,500 manhours, the facility has six operating rooms equipped with state-of-the-art hospital technology with ability to add four operating rooms in future expansion. The facility routinely handles procedures for urology, orthopedics/sports injuries, plastic surgery, ear, nose and throat, and other minimally invasive surgeries. The first floor features the 1925 Cafe – named after the year UM was founded – a Walgreens pharmacy, a blood work lab, and an imaging department with MRI and CT scanners.
